Developing meaningful relationships, where you will have a sense of belonging … we welcome your participation.
There are a variety of small groups and opportunities to connect for every generation that meet together weekly to study scripture, grow spiritually, and practice authentic community. They accomplish this in homes, in the Spirit of Hope building, though service to others, around meals … anywhere. Opportunities abound for children, youth, and adults.
If you have an idea for a new ministry or small group that you’d like to help start and/or coordinate, please contact the church office or call (763) 545-0239 to speak with a staff member about how to go about doing it.
No matter how you’d like to share your time, your talent or your resources, or live your spiritual journey, we hope that you will find a place at Spirit of Hope to connect.
Creative Spirits (and Prayer Shawl Ministry). With two “stitchery-type” groups in our church, a decision has been made to combine the Prayer Shawl Ministry with Creative Spirits. All knitters or people who crochet prayer shawls are invited to join us. We meet twice a month (lst and 3rd Saturday at 9:30 am) all year long. We are a friendly group, open to all. This continuing group gives folks a time and place to work on projects that “never seem to get done!” We accept yarn donations- thank you.
Forum is offered to any adults who want a more full Sunday morning experience. Forum features videos of scholars in religious and other fields, followed by discussion. Forum is held on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the upstairs Fireside Room from the second Sunday in September through the last Sunday before Memorial Day.
