A CLIMATE CONVERSATION

LOVE IN A TIME OF CLIMATE CHANGE—HONORING CREATION, ESTABLISHING JUSTICE

The Reconciling and Social Justice Committee is sponsoring a two evening discussions on climate change and climate justice from the perspective of our faith tradition.  The theme is taken from the book, Love in a Time of Climate Change—Honoring Creation, Establishing Justice, by Sharon Delgado, a United Methodist minister.

Please plan to participate:

Dinner and climate discussions on November 13 and 20 between 5:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., led by Susan Mullin.  Dinner will be served starting at 5:45 p.m. and the group discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Our discussions will be informed by the book and other resources.  We will have some copies of the book available for purchase, but you do not need to read the book to participate.

Susan is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church with extensive experience on the intersection of faith and environmental issues.  Formerly an environmental consultant and professional geologist, she now focuses on building a movement of people of faith caring for people and the planet.

All are welcome.  A sign up for the dinners will be posted in October.
