Calliope Women’s Chorus presents “A Peace of This Earth: Solace in a World of Fire”
Join Calliope Women’s Chorus for their December concert, “A Peace of This Earth: Solace in a World of Fire” as part of Spirit of Hope’s Fine Arts Series.
This show is centered around the themes of solace and our place in nature, featuring works inspired by the serenity and groundedness of the natural world, and the importance of moments of peace in a tumultuous time of unrest. Through introspective, soothing, and pensive repertoire, we examine the two-sided nature of our relationship with our world: being both observers and stewards of our natural world. We contemplate how this is true of our environmental landscape as well as our sociopolitical one.
Tickets may be purchased online through the Calliope Women’s Chorus.
All tickets are general admission and are offered on a sliding scale: we ask that you consider your own situation and choose a price that is appropriate for you. Our suggested price for an adult with a comfortable income is $20. You can pay more if you’d like to help make this experience accessible to others, or less if that price isn’t affordable for you.
Note: Online ticket sales will close at noon on December 13. You can still purchase tickets at the door on concert day! Prices at the door will be $20 for adults and $10 for students & seniors.
