Spirit of Hope UMC is excited to welcome the Court Revelers as part of our Fine Arts Series!

This is a free concert for the public. Spirit of Hope will accept donations to support Neon, an inclusive program of the Wesley Foundation at the University of Minnesota that serves all students, not just Methodists or Christians. Students come to Neon who care about social justice, spirituality, and finding community.

About the Court Revelers

The Court Revelers are a four-part, a capella singing group located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, bringing together musical excellence, acting, comedy, history, and fun, performing throughout each weekend of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. They perform from a large repertoire over more than 100 pieces to ensure there is something for everyone, including Renaissance madrigals, traditional ballads, pub songs, sea shanties, and contemporary music with a Renaissance flair. Many members have had a hand in writing, arranging, or providing lyrics for songs they perform.

About Neon

Neon is a student group at the University of Minnesota committed to social justice for the people and the planet, with spirituality shaped by Jesus and joy. Every week, students gather for a free meal, a powerful message from LGBTQ+ and BIPOC speakers, and share moments together in community. It is a community that’s colorful, bright, and new because of Jesus. Most spiritual and religious spaces on campus suffer from homophobia, transphobia, patriarchy, white supremacy, and other toxic systems. Students in Neon believe real spirituality and social justice is about love: loving yourself, others, and God.
