Pressented by Pete and Jan Girard. Laughter Yoga was created by Dr. Madan Kataria in Mumbai, India. He is a qualified physician and developed a new technique of Laughter, based on Yoga which can be enjoyed by anyone. Presently there are more than 5,000 Laughter Clubs all over the world. Dr. Kataria is also a corporate consultant for Holistic Health and Stress Management for a number of national and multinational companies and he conducts workshops world-wide. Pete and Jan Girard are Certified Laughter Yoga Instructors and their intention is to “drive you out of your mind” in a good way. They do their best to get everyone past the brain/laughter barrier. Ten minutes of laughter changes the body’s chemistry and releases healthy hormones so we do our best to keep the laughter flowing for 15-20 minutes. We fake it till we make it. In the end, laughter comes from your whole being rather than the body.
